Internships
Nevins & Associates is looking for motivated college students for internships.
The intern will be asked to work remotely approximately 10 hours per week, with the schedule and duration of the internship to be mutually decided. This internship can qualify for college credit if arranged with the University by the student. A merit-based stipend may be provided at the end of the internship.
Nevins & Associates offers two internships per semester during Spring (January-April), Summer (May-August), and Fall (September-December). To apply, send a resume, cover letter, and writing samples to Emily Greco.
Responsibilities

Assist with developing, writing, and distributing approved press releases and pitches

Assist with content creation including social media copy and graphics

Assist with organization of client photos, bios, marketing materials, and videos

Assist with the planning and execution of special virtual events, as needed
-
Assist with list creation through media databases (Meltwater and Cision)
-
Assist with organizing media clips and preparing for virtual client meetings.

Actively participate in brainstorm sessions and staff meetings
Requirements
-
The internship application is open to currently enrolled college students with preference given to juniors and seniors. Previous internship experience preferred but not required.

Student should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Digital Marketing or Journalism (or equivalent)

Relevant coursework in the field of public relations, social media, or marketing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong communication skills both verbal and written; familiar with AP Style

Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously

Graphic design, video content creation, and/or social media scheduling experience is a bonus.

The intern should be enthusiastic, professional, and eager to share creative ideas.
We are currently seeking applications for a Fulcrum Intern
Nevins & Associates is looking for a motivated intern to assist with managing the day-to-day activities of The Fulcrum, a digital, nonprofit and nonpartisan news organization. The Fulcrum covers efforts to make our democratic republic less partisan, elections more competitive, politicians less beholden to moneyed interests, officials more attentive to real evidence in their policymaking and Congress more effective.
