Kirstie Durr joined Nevins & Associates in 1992 as an Assistant Account Executive. She quickly become an Account Executive and then was promoted to Senior Account Executive, Vice President and currently Senior Vice President.
Durr supervises a staff and the day-to-day activities for Nevins & Associates clients including Maryland Public Television, Concentra Medical Centers, Maryland Council on Economic Education, just to name a few. Her expertise includes media relations, event planning, and negotiating major community partnerships for clients.
She has served on numerous committees and boards including the Harford Cable Network Advisory Board, the Maryland Parent Advisory Council (M-PAC), the Chimes, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, Junior Achievement and others. She currently sits on the Youth’s Benefit Education Foundation Board, the Cystic Fibrosis Board, Maryland Women’s Heritage Center Marketing Committee, Center Club Events Committee among others.
She previously held positions at Gray Kirk VanSant in Baltimore and Hawley Martin Partners in Richmond, Virginia, where she supported accounts including the Richmond Ballet, Virginia Power, the MD Association of CPAs, Giant Food Stores, and others.
She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Economics.
